The Kendall County Health Department (KCHD) is reporting two new cases of coronavirus disease (COVID19). One male in his 20s and one female in her 40s tested positive for coronavirus disease 2019. This brings the total of Kendall County residents who had tested positive to 39.
SHOPPING SAFELY
- Stay home when you are sick
- When possible, avoid shopping during peak hours to reduce large crowds
- Use germicide/sanitizer wipes or gel to wipe down carts and hands before and after use
- Don’t use reusable bags
- Practice social distancing while shopping and standing in line, by standing at least 6ft from other shoppers
- Avoid direct hand-offs, use credit /debit, virtual payment, or self-checkout
- If using a grocery delivery service, pay ahead of time to avoid direct hand-offs
- Keep hands away from face as this provides a way for the virus to enter your body
- Upon returning home, wash your hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds
