Coronavirus Disease Update for Kendall County

April 17, 2020

The Kendall County Health Department (KCHD) is reporting new cases of coronavirus disease (COVID19) and new persons in recovery, bringing the total cases to 132 and in-recovery to 76.

Considerations for Essential Businesses and Organizations

Everyone should follow guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), as well as state and local government officials, regarding strategies to limit disease spread.

As the nation now must rely on all essential businesses to promote public health, safety, and community well-being, essential businesses must prevent exposure and infection of the virus so that they can continue to carry out their responsibilities.

Essential business and organizations may continue to implement organization-specific measures, which prevent the spread of infection while meeting mission needs.

The vast majority of our economy relies on technology and therefore information technology (IT) for infrastructure operations is critical.

All essential business and organizations should implement their continuity of operations processes or promptly put processes in place if they do not exist.
